Our Italian wine Pasqua Passimento received rave reviews on the recent wine feature on the Late Lunch afternoon show on TV3.
Passimento is stunning wine from Verona, Italy, the location of the immortal love story of Romeo & Juliet and the Special Edition Romeo & Juliet wine captures the romance of the city and the 3,000 love messages that are left on the wall everyday by tourists at Juliet's house. This unique spot in the city, Verona, inspired the creation of Passimento.
The wine is a turbo-charged Valpolicella red wine, made in the style of one of the most iconic techniques of the region: the ‘Appassimento’ where grapes are partially dried to concentrate the flavours before fermentation. Unlike Valpolicella, it contains Merlot, in addition to the indigenous Corvina and Croatira, giving it added smoothness. The result is an elegant and succulent medium bodies wine burst with flavours of rich and dark jammy fruits layered with chocolate and raisins and spice and a soft silky texture.
The feature can be seen into the link at 33 minutes 30 seconds. (Play through the first section of adverts and then the link can be can skipped through onto the wine feature)

For the launch of this wine we supported retailers with point of sale that resembled the Verona wall and successfully rolled out window and floor displays throughout the country.
