Rioja Vega is well known and respected in the Irish market. This is a big house and world recognised for quality and innovation. The multi award winning wines offer both quality and exceptional value. We have taken 6 Wines from the range covering all price points and quality levels.
The origins of Rioja Vega go back to 1882 when Don Felipe Ugalde established a bodega bearing his name in Haro. In 1948 the bodega joined with Bodegas Muerza through marriage and the name disappeared. In 1983 it was acquired by the Group Principe de Viana who put significant investment in and a new brand Rioja Vega was born in January 2001. The new winery is located in the town of Viana, 10 km south-east of Logroño. The goal is to produce high quality grapes from low yields in modern surroundings. They use the best wine making techniques and know how to cement the Brand as one of the Leading Riojas in the Market.

Rioja Vega Tempranillo 2013 & Viura 2014, Semi-Crianza 2013, Crianza 2012, Reserva 2010, Gran Reserva -2009.
