May 2016: A Success for Our Italian Valentine's Wine Promotion

To coincide with Valentines Day Ampersand promoted the Romeo & Juliet range from our Italian supplier Pasqua.  The Romeo & Juliet range is a stunning selection of wines from Verona, the location of the immortal love story of Romeo & Juliet and captures the romance of the city and the love messages that are left on the wall every day by tourists at Juliet's house.

The range consists of a Passimento style red, an alluring luscious white wine and a lively and youthful fruity Prosecco. The label and case packaging is a modern interpretation on the graffiti and love notes left at the Romeo & Juliet's Wall.

For every purchase of a 5 case mix of the red and white a free case of Prosecco was given free of charge.

The promotion was a great success offering the off-trade a quality product with great margins and providing some in-store theatre around the Valentine's selling period with supporting Point of Sale and graphics of the Verona wall for use in window and floor displays.
