Our Albariño wine - Paco & Lola LOLO vintage 2016 recently won gold at Albariño of the World competition. This year it was held in our own fair city of Dublin. This is a great accolade to be held for this Albariño, which is currently very on trend in the wine world.
On the nose is a delicate citric aroma of grapefruit, lime, white flowers, acacia and orange blossom with a sweet tropical background and intense aroma of lychees. On the palate is a lovely fresh intense fruity mouth feel of white peaches, broad pear and a little honeyed touch. Elegant, but yet a subtle lemon acidity lends for a wine of real character and reward. A real treat!
