Ampersand are delighted to have won ten coveted awards and have three Gold Star Winners at the NOffLA Gold Star Irish Wine Awards 2018 - 2019 Ceremony on the 8th of October in the Morrison Hotel. The gold stars were awarded to Rioja Vega Crianza 2015, Santa Carolina Cellar Selection Sauvignon Blanc 2018 and De Vero Vino Rosso Biologico 2017.
The ‘Star Awards’ wines were blind tasted and selected by a panel of 4 qualified experts in the industry. Their endorsement means that consumers have a specialist recommendation and expert reassurance that they will enjoy excellent quality and value when they select one of the Irish Wine Show award winners in the 315 off-licences that are represented by NoFFLA (The National Off Licence Association).

The 3rd Gold Star, Santa Carolina Cellar Selection Sauvignon Blanc is with one of Ampersand's most popular wines. This award compliments last year's Silver Awards awarded to the Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, and in the previous year the Silver to the Merlot. This completes the range as all having won at the awards. Focus will be on selling the Sauvignon Blanc and grouping the range together as a winning range, a perfect opportunity to gain floor displays and generate volume.
