This month the Cleeve’s Irish Confectionery range was extended with some new exciting additions.
Three new lines were added, two new hanging bags and a treat size box of Original Iced Caramels.
On the back of the hugely successful Macaroon Bar, the Macaroon Bites €2 hanging bag was developed. The bag is a 100g offering of bite-size, delicious creamy Irish chocolates mixed with coconut, all sealed in individual foil wrappers for ultimate freshness. The packaging is in line with the Macaroon Bar presentation and with the winning formula of chocolate and coconut everyone at Ampersand and Cleeve’s are very excited about the potential of the Macaroon Bites. Sales have already got off to a great start!
Irish Golden Days is another €2 hanging bag line containing luscious dark chocolate caramels with coconut and sea salt in a 120g bag. The packaging is vibrant emerald green and gold and would make a lovely St. Patrick’s Day treat next month.
Both the hanging bags are gluten free like the rest of the Cleeve’s hanging bag range and this has proven to be a strong selling point for the brand with both the trade and consumers.
The Original Iced Caramels Treat Pack is a new concept developed as a premium treat pack for snacking with 6 Iced Caramel sweets in a bright pink slim box. With a RRP of €1.20, the Treat Pack is essentially a sampler pack to create greater awareness of the classic favourite Iced Caramels and drive new consumers towards repeat purchases of the hanging bag format. Packaging on the treat pack is bright and attractive and the outer case can be merchandised as an impulse product at the counter in its shelf-ready packaging. It is the perfect option for a luxury snack-on-the-go for new or existing consumers and would make a sweet gift for a loved one with a much-loved Irish confectionery classic.
