Ampersand Win Wine of the Year & White Wine of the Year in Record Breaking Sweep

Ampersand are over the moon to announce that we have once again sweeped the board at the 2022 - 2023 National Off Licence Irish Gold Star Wine Awards winning a record-breaking 21 awards on the night.

 

Ampersand won a total of 7 Gold Stars Awards and the two most prestigious awards of the event -  Irish Wine of the Year with Rioja Vega Crianza and White Wine of the Year with Lolo Albarino.

 

Of the other 19 awards won across different categories there were 7 Gold Stars, 9 Silvers and 3 Bronze Star Awards.

The Gold Star Award Winners were as follows; - 

 

Giovinello Pinot Grigio - Best Old World Under White Under €12

Coral Reef Chardonnay/ Semillon - Best New Word White Under €12

Coral Reef Shiraz / Cabernet  - Best New World Red Under €12

Faber Sauvignon Blanc - Best Non Alcoholic Under €15

Rioja Vega Semi Crianza - Best Old World Red  Under €12

 

Lo Lo Albarino – Best Old World White Under €15 & Wine WHITE WINE OF THE YEAR

Irish Wine Show Winners 2022 - 2023 

 

 

 

Each of the winning wines will be sold in NOffLA member outlets, of which there are more than 315 nationwide. The chosen wines will be recognisable by distinctive Award symbols on each bottle. In the pre-Christmas period NOffLA members will also promote the Irish Wine Show Star Awards 2022-2023 Collection as ideal Christmas gifts, in a variety of special gift packs.
