Join Our Team – Field Sales Representatives Wanted
Ampersand is expanding our nationwide sales team and we’re looking for dynamic, motivated individuals to join us. We currently have two exciting opportunities for Field Sales Representatives based in Galway and the South East region.

Ampersand is a nationwide sales and marketing company supplying a full range of fast-moving consumer goods to all the retail groups in Ireland. We are an Irish-owned family business with over 70 years’ experience; we supply directly over 3,000 stores and are a key distributor in the convenience sector.
Our product portfolio is sourced from over 50 different suppliers based both in Ireland and in all parts of the world. Our product ranges are in Confectionery, Food, Cigars, Tobacco accessories and Consumer products.

Responsibilities:
Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
Present, promote and sell products to existing and prospective customers in assigned regions.
Performing structured sales calls in assigned regions.
Achieving sales targets across our portfolio whilst ensuring gross margin targets adhered to.
Driving distribution across our range.
Building customer relationships.
Handling complaints, returns, as required.
Ensuring our products are well displayed and placing Point of Sale where applicable.
Ensuring promotional activation excellence across our range.
Required skills:
At least two years’ proven work experience as a field sales representative.
Highly self-motivated, target driven, with a “can do” attitude.
Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
Good knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with CRM systems.
Strong customer relationship building skills.
Desired skills:
Sales experience in FMCG will be considered as an advantage.
